This scan includes a complimentary call with our fertility expert, Dr Irfana Koita.

Abnormal growths inside the uterus, such as polyps and fibroids, contribute to uterine bleeding, infertility, and repeated miscarriage.

This saline ultrasound test or aqua scan for women aims to help you determine the overall health of your uterus before pregnancy. Our expert medical staff will perform the saline test together with a detailed pelvic ultrasound scan to fully evaluate the health of your uterus for pregnancy.

For optimum clarity, you’ll perform the 3D saline scan inside our office in London under expert supervision. Results are released immediately after the scan. You can schedule a complimentary call with our in-house fertility expert Dr Irfana Koita, to discuss your results and explore possible treatment options if required.

What information will the scan provide?

A detailed pelvic scan is performed followed by the saline test. The test is performed by experts to determine whether there are any polyps, fibroids, uterine anomalies, scar tissue etc within the uterine cavity.

Who should have the scan?

This scan is designed for women wanting to evaluate the status of their uterine cavity if they are trying to get pregnant spontaneously or through assisted conception.

What type of scan is it?

This scan is performed transvaginally for optimum clarity.

When should the scan be done?

The scan can be done between days 7 to 12 of the cycle.

Where will the scan be performed?

The scan will be performed at Harley Street, London.

How long will it take to get the result?

You will get the report immediately after the scan.

Any prerequisite for the test?

Yes, a Chlamydia report.

Can I pay in instalments?

IVF Matters is the 1st fertility service in the UK to offer interest-free payment plans for diagnostic tests. We offer 2 payment plans - Splitit and LayBuy.

Splitit enables you to pay with an existing VISA or MasterCard credit card by splitting the cost into interest and fee-free monthly payments, without additional registrations or applications. To be eligible, you must have the entire amount of your purchase available on your card. At the time of purchase, you will only be charged for the first payment. The remaining balance will be held on the credit card until the final payment is made. 

LayBuy lets you spread the total cost over 6 weekly automatic payments. The first payment equal to one-sixth of the purchase price occurs once your order is completed. The remaining 5 payments are processed each week on the day of the original purchase. You will be required to log in to or set up a Laybuy account to use this payment facility. Selecting Laybuy at checkout will provide you an opportunity to register for an account.
