Julie Shaw

Julie Shaw is a highly experienced fertility acupuncturist with over 20 years of clinical practice, specialising in women’s health, reproductive medicine, and pregnancy support.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture from the University of Westminster and an MSc in Nutrition. Julie has dedicated her career to supporting patients with fertility challenges, hormonal balance, and reproductive health.

Julie works with women at every stage of their fertility journey — from preconception and natural conception support to patients undergoing assisted fertility treatments, including IVF and ICSI. Her integrative approach is designed to complement medical fertility care, helping optimise outcomes while supporting overall wellbeing.

She spent six years as a resident acupuncturist at the renowned Zita West Clinic, working alongside leading fertility specialists in a clinical environment, gaining extensive experience in IVF support and complex fertility cases.

Julie’s approach is compassionate, patient-centred, and evidence-informed, combining over two decades of clinical expertise with a deep understanding of both traditional and modern fertility care.

She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the British Medical Acupuncture Society, and holds full professional and medical malpractice insurance.
